Ladies Long Weekend was established when Tina, proud owner/operator of Helloworld Travel Rochedale Shopping Village, felt there was a need for busy women, not unlike herself, to get away for a short break with other likeminded ladies. 

With a vast knowledge and experience in the retail travel industry, Tina designs and escorts all departures herself to ensure that every detail is well thought out to ensure an enjoyable and seamless long weekend. The destinations are chosen based on feedback and requests from previous departures and our portfolio of options is continuously expanding.

About Tina - Your LLW Host

Hello Ladies!

I’m Tina, the lady behind (and in front!) of Ladies Long Weekend. Throughout the LLW booking and travelling process you will be dealing entirely with me. I personally create the itineraries, do the marketing (definitely not an expert!) and also accompany you on the weekend to ensure that everything goes to plan.

A little about my experience - I have been in the retail travel industry since joining in 2002. It was a relatively last minute career decision but one I’m so very happy I made. I worked my way through the ranks and in 2014 I became the (very proud) owner of a Helloworld Travel franchise. Since then I have started a family and relocated my business to our current location at Rochedale Shopping Village. I truly love what I do but the last 12 months have been very tough. Creating and building LLW has been a way for me to look forward through these hard times.

About my family - I am married to my high school sweetheart, Adam, and together we have two beautiful children - Nate, 9 years and Emmy, 5 years (going on 15!). We live in Rochedale and have done so since buying our first house together in 2005. We love the suburb and the community.

About me - I’m a very social person and love spending time with people. It’s even better when there’s good food or wine included! I clearly love travel and have been very lucky throughout my career to travel to many destinations both in Australia and overseas. I love wine - sparkling, red, white - I’m really not picky. Do you see a theme from the LLW weekends here?

As I have mentioned above, LLW was created to share my love of life, travel, food & wine with women who might sometimes forget to put themselves first. I find that all too often women put family, work or other commitments ahead of their own wellbeing. My belief from a professional and personal perspective is that a long weekend away will replenish them and bring them back feeling ready to give it their all once more….
